John 13
As Christians we are supposed to love each other, this was the new commandment that Jesus gave his disciples
John 13
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
So the question is: Why aren't we seeing this in practice within the so-called body of Christ?
This question has really thrown me into a crisis of faith lately especially concerning the rapture/no rapture debate!
God allows me to go through these little crisis times so that he can bring me full circle and show me what he wants me to see.
There is so much hatred, finger pointing and outright venom coming out of so many people who are professed Christians right now that it is absolutely shocking!
I look at what so many people are saying and I wonder if these people even understand what real love actually is!
Sometimes real love means telling people things that they do not want to hear and they will hate you for it but love commands that you love them enough to tell them the truth even if it hurts!
Because if you truly love people you do what you can to save their life even if they hate you for it!
You do not tell them pretty lies!
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is the way the TRUTH and the life!
If you do not love the truth then you do not love Jesus! It is that simple!
I believe this statement covers many different things happening within the Christian community right now.
The world will tell you that if you love someone then you should let them do what they want and be supportive of their decisions but this is not love!
If you see someone trying to commit suicide shouldn't you try and stop them instead of saying “it's ok, do what you want there is no hell”? And let them perish?
Is it really love to let someone self destruct?
With this in mind I am going to talk about what I am seeing in the rapture/ no rapture war and yes it does appear to be an outright war!
The worst onslaught seems to be coming from the rapture believers!
Please understand that I am not referring to all rapture believers but it does seem to be the majority!
This has been so derisive and nasty that I cannot help but wonder how many of these people actually believe in Jesus and how many are simply about the rapture?
In most cases it seems to be the latter!
I call this the rapture “get out of jail free” card.
Many people seem to think that if they simply believe in Jesus that they will be raptured, but understand this... even Satan and his demons believe in Jesus!
Do you think that they will be going to heaven in the rapture?
Now you need to understand that I am coming into this debate with a clear understanding of both sides of this issue and to be quite honest I see far more love and compassion coming from the non rapture believers than from the rapture believers!
Even though these rapture believers would have you believe otherwise.
Now keep in mind that I am not saying that all non rapture believers are loving Godly people, there are true loving Christians on both side of this, just as there are hateful cruel people on both sides but the majority of the non rapture believers whom I have met seem to be far more loving and compassionate then most of the rapture believers I have encountered!
I keep hearing people on the rapture side of the fence say things like “don't listen to them they are just trying to steal your joy”
Well there are a couple of things here that need to be addressed.
First off when did the Joy become about the rapture? Shouldn't our blessed hope and joy be about Jesus and what he did for us?
Yet Jesus seems to be taking a back seat to the rapture lately!
WHY?
Secondly it seems to me that these people are absolutely terrified to even listen to any Christian brother or sister who might have a different perspective than their own.
So they call them names and accuse them of evil!
What did John 13:34 say again?
How is this love?
Now I want to address some of the things within the rapture community that I find deeply disturbing and many will probably hate me for this..... so be it!
I saw a video a few days ago titled something about rapture believers being narcissists and to be honest I think this may well be the case for many, many rapture believers!
Stay with me there is a point to all of this and some interesting conclusions.
There really does seem to be a very selfish, self centered aspect at the very core of much of the rapture belief system at least for the majority of these people and I genuinely believe it will be disastrous for them in the end!
It truly seems that the very core of their belief system is the rapture or escape from the horrors of the tribulation and not Jesus..... and this is backwards!
It seems that many of these people think that by simply believing in the rapture they will be saved.... and they won't be!
Jesus knows your heart and your true motivation, the real reason that you do and believe what you do.... You cannot lie to him or deceive him in any way!
Treating Christian brothers and sisters the way many do shows where their true heart is!
Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
So the question needs to be asked: What if there isn't a rapture or what if you are left behind after the rapture? Would you still believe in Jesus?
If there is no rapture and you have to endure will you still trust him? Will you love him and put him first? Or will you feel betrayed and fall away?
Is your faith in Jesus or the rapture?
And what if there is a rapture and you are left behind?
Will you take a good hard look at yourself to find out where you fell short and correct it or will you curse the “God” who didn't live up to your standards?
One of the biggest problems that I have seen within the Christian church is this tendency to try and make God fit into what we want him to be instead of trying to be what he wants us to be!
This is narcissism in its purest form!
I cannot tell you how many times in my life I have heard people say things like “I believe what I believe and I don't want to hear anything to the contrary!”
This is self based faith... not faith in Jesus Christ but we were told this would happen:
2 Timothy 3
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ...
Isn't it odd that people do not recognize this within the Christian community when that is the place where we should be looking first!?
Despite my recent crisis I do still believe that there will indeed be a rapture however I do not believe that it will be anything like most people think it will be and I firmly believe that the vast majority of people who think that they are going will not!
I think that some will be raptured who are not expecting to be and that most of the people who think that they will be raptured will be left behind!
At this point I truly think that many of these people will wish that they had listened to their non rapture believing brethren!
What exactly is wrong with stocking up on food and supplies?
If You are left behind you will need this and if you are taken then there will be Christians being born into the faith who will need these things, so how exactly is this a bad thing?
Or are you so self centered that you cannot see the needs of others?
Unfortunately this is the attitude which seems to be most prevalent within the rapture believers.
This is a declaration that says “I don't need to worry about that because I won't be here and I don't care what happens to those left behind”!
Do you see anything selfish or un-Christian in this statement?
People seem to think that their hard core determination to believe in the rapture will save them when only their faith in Jesus and the love that they have for him and his people will do that!
Does it really hurt you in some way to actually listen to your Christian brothers and sisters and take into consideration that maybe they are acting out of concerned love and they might actually have your best interest at heart?
Maybe what they are saying is in fact an act of love?
If we refuse to listen to each other and compare notes then how can we say that we love each other as Jesus Christ loves us?
Although I do not believe that all of the dreams and visions that people are having about the rapture are real (some may come from self talk or expectation and some from narcissists claiming to be something that they are not) I do believe that some are very real!
The ones that strike me as real all have certain things in common.
The people making them all seem to have a genuine love for Jesus, his truth and his people, they have a genuine fear of and respect for God and every single one of them says that very few are going in the rapture!
A true love of Jesus cannot be faked just as a persons love of themselves will become clear to anyone with true discernment!
I believe that the C19 injections was a test to see who would comply with the Satanic agenda and who would listen to God and obey him. I do still believe that these injections are the name and or number of the beast as I have not seen any evidence to the contrary but this is beside the point at the moment.
I believe that the rapture is the second test.
Although there have been many people trying to warn the Church very few are truly listening!
I honestly believe that Jesus will only take those of his people who's hearts are focused on him, their fellow Christians and the rest of humanity.
I believe that when this happens it will be very clear where peoples hearts truly are!
Nobody will be able to fake their way through this!
You will know right away where your heart really is and so will everyone else!
I believe that there is a very self righteous arrogant group within the rapture believing group who will stand up at this point and say: That cannot have been the rapture because I am still here!
Their true motives revealed.
I believe that many of these people will become very angry and violent when God didn't live up to their expectations and will turn on each other and turn away from Jesus all together!
Their true motives revealed!
I believe this to be the group that will do a lot of harm in the end days.
Then there will be a third group who will wake up to the truth and truly repent, truly come to Christ and these are the tribulation saints!
This is the group of people who are going to need all of those stored supplies. They will need every ounce of encouragement and strength they can muster because they will not only be standing against the world but their former fellow Christians as well!
These people will witness horrors beyond their wildest imaginations, far worse than anything that they could have even believed was possible but they will stand firm and be a witness to Jesus Christ until their very end!
Now is the time when we should be examining our own hearts and our true motivation, this is when we should be questioning what we truly believe and why we believe what we do!
This is the time to figure out whether Jesus is our true Lord or if we are trying to make Jesus live up to what we want him to be!
You cannot have it both ways either Jesus is your god or you are your own god.... there is no middle ground!
I truly pray that his article gets in front of the majority of the rapture believing Christians while there is still time.
