False Prophets

What I am about to say is going to upset and possibly anger some people and I don't care!

Here is why:

The truth may be hard and painful to look at but without the truth you cannot go to heaven!

Satan is the father of lies and I ask you: is he going to heaven for eternity or is he headed for the lake of fire?

There are a lot of false prophets on line now and while some of them are blatantly obvious some are more subtle.

I am going to focus on a couple of these and although I will not name names it will be clear to some who I am talking about.

I am not trying to be mean but am in fact trying to save lives... eternal lives!

Up until now I have for the most part, done what I can to warn people about some of these people and then try to ignore them but it dawned on me a couple of days ago why we need to be calling them out on this and making them accountable!

These people are dangerous... not just to those unsuspecting followers but to themselves as well!
I will come back to this point.

There is a woman on line who is clearly a false prophet.

She claims to be receiving messages from Jesus and has set at least 2 rapture dates that I know of that obviously never happened.

The first one was February 15th and she claimed that if this didn't happen then we could call her a false prophet and she would stop making videos.

It didn't happen and she didn't stop, which not only makes her a false prophet but a liar as well!

In the days of the old testament days she would have been stoned to death for this!

This is how serious of a matter this is!

Although I stopped listening to her some time ago, I have tried to warn others about her. However she recently made another false prediction about the rapture and yet people are still promoting her!

There is a young man who is also claiming to receive messages from God who a few years ago made the claim that God told him that Trump would be re-elected, which clearly didn't happen and he is still putting out videos as well!

These are just a couple of examples, there are many-many more of these on line!

Unfortunately there are actually people who are promoting these false prophets and ignoring the warnings about them.

Now I do not know if this is the intentional pushing of false prophesy or if they truly buy into what these people are selling but if they somehow have it in their mind that these false prophets are good Christians who just made a mistake they are in for a rude awakening!

I found out the hard way some time ago that many people who do this... Claim to be receiving messages from the Lord and making prophesies are usually NOT true Christians!

In fact I would go so far as to say that they are not Christian at all but putting on a really good show!

Understand that I am not saying that everyone who receives information from the Lord is a false prophet many are not but there are many false Christians in the world pretending to be something that they are not, so beware!

These false prophets are for the most part narcissists!

They are NOT about serving God, they are about being their own God! A Christian narcissist knows their Bible inside out, upside down, backwards and forward!

And they can and will wield scripture as a weapon against you if you dare oppose them.

Unfortunately you cannot see this part of their personality on line!

Online you cannot see the person behind the mask you can only see what they want you to see!

They want to feel special, they want to feel that they are better than you, because after all they are getting messages from Jesus so they must be special....right?

Most of all they want you to worship them and treat them as the special person that they believe themselves to be!

They want you to feed their ego!

People this is self destructive behavior!

Now I want to talk for a minute to the Christians who promote these individuals and the harm that you are doing.

Now you might think that you are being a kind and loving Christian by just forgiving these people and letting them continue on doing what they are doing..... but you are not!

Not only are you helping them deceive others but you are literally sending them to hell!

Jesus didn't like the Pharisees doing this and he doesn't want his followers doing this either!

By promoting these people you might be jeopardizing your own salvation as well!

Unless these people repent and seek out a true relationship with Jesus Christ they will end up in hell!

So by not calling these false prophets out and making them accountable you are helping them to stay on a path that will destroy them....forever!

Is this truly loving kindness?

Truth isn't easy! It is often very hard and difficult to tell people the truth... especially to those who don't want to hear it but when you don't tell them the truth you are allowing them to commit eternal suicide!

Telling the truth will get you hated, marginalized, condemned and persecuted but Jesus calls us to love each other, not just our neighbors and non-believers but other Christians as well!

Undergoing discipline and correction is part of the process of becoming a true follower of Jesus Christ, part of establishing the relationship!

People, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life! If you do not embrace the truth you do not embrace Jesus!

It is that simple!

Now I had a friend once who fell into this “Christian Narcissist” category.

Our friendship ended for me the day that she told me that she was a prophet of God and therefore had the right to stand in judgment on others. I had been seeing other warning signs for a while but this was the last straw for me.

I want you to understand that even though I removed this person from my life I still pray for her every day!

I still love her very dearly and I don't want her to end up in hell!

I do not see her as an enemy... I see her as someone who is very sick and in need of healing... I don't want her to perish!

The attitude of loving people enough to tell them the truth should be part of our walk with Christ!

Telling the truth can be very painful for us. It hurts when people turn away from us...when the people who we love turn their back on us but I ask you if you truly love these people then what is more important to you.... Your feelings or their salvation?

You need to ask yourself what will hurt more... Your hurt feelings which will heal in time or losing the people whom you love, forever... to a fate far worse than death?

If your hurt feelings are more important to you than your loved ones salvation then maybe you need to re-examine your own faith!

This is serious people!

If we see someone in error that is destroying them, then we have an obligation to try and help them!

This is NOT an act of cruelty... it is an act of LOVE!

We need to be helping each other... especially now with time growing so short!

This is what you should be focusing on when dealing with false prophets...

Matthew 7:21-23

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 23:12
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Remember nearly all of the original followers of Jesus died for telling the truth.

We must be willing to do the same!

Time is running out!

People's souls are not saved with pretty lies... they are saved by hearing the truth!

Repentance is necessary for salvation!

Love people enough to tell them the truth!
